Secretary Maeve Vallely Bartlett oversees the Commonwealth’s six environmental, natural resource and energy regulatory agencies. Massachusetts is the first state in the nation to combine energy and environmental agencies under one Cabinet secretary.

Energy and Environmental Affairs Mission and Strategic Plan

Under the direction of the Patrick-Murray Administration, the agencies and offices of EEA are progressing toward a clean energy future, but our mission does not stop there.
