The $1 billion DFW Connector Project was designed to help drivers navigate better and avoid congestion as they travel to and around the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The project received $260 million in ARRA funds and was the lar...gest highway investment from the Recovery Act. In late August, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced completion of the 500th Recovery Act water project. The Arkansas water treatment plant received $62 million in USDA Recovery Act funds to construct 120 miles of water pipeline, nine pumping stations and six elevated water tanks.
