The Garden Valley School District received $2,750,000 through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to install a new wood biomass boiler at the new K-12 school in Garden Valley, Idaho. Construction has started on a new boiler room at the school and the new boiler is expected to arrive in the summer of 2010.
The new heating system is anticipated to be fully operational by September 2010.
