Delaware Law requires that in order to bid on a competitively bid construction contract in excess of $50,000, the bidder must have initiated the license process with the Division of Revenue.

An application for bidding purposes will only allow the applicant to obtain a temporary license to comply with the bidding rules of an advertised contract. Once awarded the contract, a valid Delaware business license must be obtained.
