In pursuing good public policy, Advocacy's Office of Interagency Affairs also monitors federal agencies' compliance with the Regulatory Flexibility Act (RFA), as amended by the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act. The RFA requires federal agencies to analyze the impact of proposed regulations on small firms, and the Office of Advocacy reports on agencies' compliance to Congress each year.
