The sponsorships are part of the regional recognition of the culmination of a thirty year plan to bring rail to the world's third busiest airport. The five-mile extension from Belt Line Station to Terminal A brings the DART light rail network to 90 miles, the longest in North America.

DART is marking the start of service with a special August 15 recognition for area community and business leaders and elected officials who have helped make the rail line a reality. This coincides with dozens of customer events across the region designed to create excitement about this new connection for local, national, and international travelers.
