<b>GROUP ISSUES</b>
1. Return the admin invites to the top of the comments section of the NPE so we can tell when we have an invite without having to go to Recent Activity.
2. Fix Recent Activity so ALL admin invites are visible (regardless of the designated time period). Currently we can only see ten and that's not enough: many more than that can come in, especially in the first few days after posting.
3. Return the 'Invite To/Remove From' groups window to a list (which wastes less space) and show when a photo is already invited (saves time).
4. Make all the groups to which a photo has been added visible with a &quot;more&quot; button.
5. Note the number of groups a photo is in (as before).

<b>PHOTO ISSUES</b>
6. <u>PHOTO TITLES:</u> Titles are essential to the appreciation of many photos: a) in regular photo view, make the photo's title more prominent so it's clear what it is; b) in full screen view, list the photo's title along with the poster's name.
7. <u>DATE(S):</u> Make it clear what the date on the photo page represents. Right now it could be anything. (And, hopefully, use the upload date instead of the date the photo was taken. Or better yet, include Taken, Uploaded and Modified dates. If a person disables EXIF info, there's no way to discover this important info.)
8. <u>TAGS:</u> Bring back the MRU (Most Recently Used) drop-down for tags. Having to navigate from the group, back to the photo page and back to Recent Activity for the purpose of tagging is a nightmare.
9. <u>NOTES:</u> Return the ability to add a note directly onto a photo (including the ability for a person to disable this function if they wish). Listing notes under Tags is not useful (or easily discoverable).

<b>GENERAL USER INTERFACE ISSUES</b>
10. <u>HTML:</u> Make all user settings for HTML sticky: both the specified size and the choice of HTML or Embed. If one never uses Embed and almost always uses the Medium 640 size of HTML, it's a real pain to have to reset these every time.
11. <u>MENU BAR:</u> Return the menu bar to the top of the photo pages. We need to be able to navigate from every page.
12. <u>SEARCH BOX:</u> Return the search box to the top of the photo pages. We need to be able to search from every page.
13. <u>BUDDY ICONS:</u> Make clicking the buddy icons (both that of the user and those of the commenters) on the NPE bring up a drop-down menu for Settings, Flickrmail, Stats, etc., as before. We need access to these options on all pages. (Since clicking the X in the upper right corner takes you back to the photostream, there's no need to have the buddy icons do the same thing.)
14. <u>SCREEN NAMES:</u> Use both the real name and the screen name in Comments. What's the point of having a screen name if it's not used everywhere. If only one name can be listed, it should be the screen name.
15. <u>RECENT ACTIVITY SETTINGS:</u> Make all user settings for Recent Activity sticky so we don't have to change to our preferred view every time we access the page.
16. <u>READABILITY:</u> Return to black print on white background or give us a choice. Black on white is very difficult for some people to read.
17. <u>SPEED:</u> Not only is the new interface not 20 times faster than the old, for some users it is actually slower.
18. <u>KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS:</u> Return explanation of the keyboard shortcuts (&quot;c&quot;, &quot;g&quot;, etc.) to the photo pages. How else will anyone learn this method of navigation?
19. <u>DUPLICATE COMMENTS:</u> In the old interface, if you mistakenly tried to post a duplicate comment (such as an award icon), the duplicate was disallowed. in the new interface, the duplicate comment is accepted. Please change this back.

Not only do you not listen to your longtime users, who stay with you mainly because of a sort of time and effort equivalent of economic sunk costs (I have over 6000 photos here, which are linked in a lot of other sites as well), but you display a supreme contempt for us, either not acknowledging what we have to say at all, or by patronizingly dismissing those complaints, reiterating as if speaking to children that you do not intend to listen to, much less act on, a single word we say.
Maybe someone can remind me of the name of that French photo site that got a lot of business when flickr first started selling out.

I see no evidence that many of the people commenting here are being listened to. Granted we don't have stats saying x number hate Flickr after 20MAY2013 and Y number like it. However what I find most annoying here is that there tends to be universal dislike of the new photo experience when it comes to the sidebar and all the staff does is pay lip service but there is nothing discernible that has changed.

The comment area is to small. It's hard to read. The photos are cutoff or have an odd aspect ratio. I use a 23 inch monitor and the photo still look awful when running at 1920x1080 max colors. I could go on but I think I made my point.

I honestly think you guys don't give a d@mn about what the users of Flickr think. What say you staff?
