three people eligible for hospice care receives it - even though hospice is
fully covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial insurance plans.
This includes coverage for medications and supplies related to the
life-limiting illness. VistaCare is committed to the exceptional delivery of
compassionate, patient-focused hospice care and believes there should be no
barriers to high quality end-of-life care. Our comprehensive team includes
physicians; nurses; nurse aids; social workers; spiritual care counselors;
bereavement support services, physical, occupational, & speech therapists;
dieticians; and volunteers. This Open Access philosophy ensures that
VistaCare accepts anyone who is eligible for hospice, regardless of the
complexity of their medical needs. Staff members are available 24 hours a
day and services are provided in a variety of settings, including a
patient's home, nursing home, assisted living facility, or hospital. |
