For those iPhone users out there, good news from Google. The Google Search App was updated to include the "OK Google" voice trigger. Now we just need to teach Siri to say it :)
Lovin' this update
#RogersSI  It works great and is a great iOS tip!

Why is it that we only posit a future where cheap Chinese Android phones improve but the iPhone does not? After all these years GOOGLE still hasn't caught up in making purchasing as easy on Android as it is on iOS.

Apple made retina screens a marqui feature when no one else could. They all have them now but Apple moved on to Siri. Google came out with Now...but Apple dropped in the 64bit processor and the first really useful "done right" fingerprint scanner.

See the pattern?

Apple also successfully ignores technology. Adobe flash...remember when that was a concern? Physical keyboards, USB ports, memory card slots, NFC. And now...large screen phablets. Some people want all of those things. There is a market. Apple has a track record of being successful for NOT supporting such things.

Will Apple always innovate? Will Apple always ignore the right features and include only the right ones? Who knows. But while we are predicting the future let us not assume that Apple stands still while everyone else catches up

Nice.  _"Perhaps most important, our [Apple's] business does not depend on collecting personal data. We have no interest in amassing personal information about our customers. We protect personal conversations by providing end-to-end encryption over iMessage and FaceTime. We do not store location data, Maps searches, or Siri requests in any identifiable form. ... Unlike many other companies dealing with requests for customer data from government agencies, Apple's main business is not about collecting information."_

A further innovation

If you are a proud owner of an iPhone you have purchased a device which is in someway much more sensitive than any human being ever can be. And it's not the incredible SIRI I'm talking about. iPhone's sensors know all about your movements, your finger, the distance between your ear and the device, your actual location, and even the brightness of the environment.
Your iPhone forms a liaison with you but it's an arranged marriage, it's a childless marriage, it's a miscegenation, and Apple hopes that it will not get a broken marriage. And if you are an Apple freak it's even a same-sex marriage.

Neither our brain nor any single processor can execute more than one task at a time.

So the central processing unit (abbreviation CPU) of your mobile has a painful task when measuring your movements all day long. That's the reason why Apple introduced to M7 Motion processor .

Think of it like this:

Every time the CEO (the A7) is focused on a task and needs help from his assistant (the M7) because the proud owner again jumps for joy while viewing Apple's Keynote, he sends a request to get motion data. Then he can refocus on actions depending on the devices motion.

The 64-Bit architecture of the A7 main processor in cooperation with the M7 Motion processor results in an awesome performance of the new iPhone 5S and the iPad Air.

Thanks for your attention.

I'm sure Android users are already very deep in this, but if you use an iPhone or any iOS device you really need the Google Search app. You'll never use Siri again (if you even did in the first place). With latest updates, it's now even awesomer with notifications, reminders and more cards.

Nuance Communications, the company behind Siri, makes machines that can talk to us. Making them seem more human and seamlessly interact with us.
