Player Updates

  • Anthony Dixon (Buf-RB)

Dixon with 1s, Brown with 2s for Bills on Wed.

Dixon ran with Kyle Orton's group, while Bryce Brown worked alongside E.J. Manuel with the No. 2 offense. It's not a huge surprise, as Dixon has been ahead of Brown on the depth chart all season. And we project this backfield to open as a timeshare in Fred Jackson and C.J. -- Mike Rodak on Twitter

  • Victor Oladipo (Orl-G)

Victor Oladipo (MCL) not a lock for opener

Oladipo returned to practice on Monday and the Magic would like to see him on the court for Friday's finale, but they won't risk playing him at less than full strength. The Magic open their regular season vs. New Orleans on Tuesday, Oct. 26. -- John Denton on Twitter

  • Harry Douglas (Atl-WR)

    Harry Douglas still sidelined Wednesday

Douglas was expected to return this week against the Lions, but he's not off to a great start with a "DNP" to start the week. He remains day-to-day.

  • Kevin Martin (Min-G-F)

Wolves may take fewer 3-pointers this season

The Wolves finished 26th in 3-point percentage last year, and with Kevin Love gone Saunders is just acknowledging that he doesn't have the personnel to rely on 3-pointers. Kevin Martin should have a green light from beyond the arc, as will Robbie Hummel and Chase Budinger, and fantasy owners can hope for a slight uptick from Ricky Rubio after he averaged only 0.5 per game last year. -- Jerry Zgoda on Twitter
