1836-1845 The Republic of Texas existed
1845 Texas became the 29th state
1846 Denton County formed
1848-1850 Alton, the second county seat of Denton County, was located in what became Corinth.
1850 Texas lost some of the north and west portions of what had been the Republic of Texas
April 6-7, 1862 Battle of Shiloh, Tennessee
Oct 4, 1862 Battle of Corinth, Mississippi
1865 Dr. T.A. Ball moved to the area and donated land for the Shiloh Cemetery
Dec 2, 1871 Dallas and Wichita Railroad Company chartered
1878 (20) miles of Dallas and Wichita Railroad Company track built from Dallas to Lewisville
1879 Dallas and Wichita Railroad Company went into receivership
1880 Dallas and Wichita Railroad named community Corinth
Nov 17, 1880 T.A. Ball sold a  portion of his land to the Dallas and Wichita Railroad
Dec 15, 1881 Texas and Pacific Company bought line and completed line through Corinth to Denton
Dec 15, 1881 Dallas and Wichita sold to Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railway
Aug 1883 - Oct 1927 Corinth had its own post office
Nov 3, 1887 Sand Hill Baptist Church organized in a little log school house called Sand Hill on what is now North Corinth Street.
Nov 18, 1891  Line became part of Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railway Company of Texas
1894 Sand Hill Baptist Church changed its name to Rock Hill Baptist Church.
1902 Rock Hill Baptist Church moved to near the Corinth M.K.&T railroad station (near where Geico is now). Church met under brush arbor until new building was completed. Name changed to Corinth Baptist Church.
October 31, 1908 The Corinth Cotton Gin and Cotton on the cotton bale platform (with 14,064 lbs. of cotton) next to rail tracks burned. 
1916 Corinth Christian Church established by Rev. A.D. Rogers
1924 Construction of Garza Dam begins
September 30, 1924 Strickland, Calder and Hobson, later known as the Texas Interurban Railway Company began service on the now-electrified Katy branch between Dallas and Denton.
1927 Lake Dallas is completed
July 26, 1927 Abandon 16' x 64 cotton platform at Corinth
December 30, 1929 Abandon station facilities at Corinth installed prior to 1914
1931 Construction begins on the Denton-Dallas Highway, later named U.S. Highway 77. 
Mar, 1932 The Interurban failed financially. Service was suspended. $780,000 in debt
1935 The MKT discontinued passenger trains between Dallas and Wichita Falls through Denton
1946 Corinth Baptist Church moved to Church Drive where the southbound I-35 service road is today.
1948 Construction begins on Lewisville Dam
1950 I-35 construction started through Corinth 
1953 Corinth Baptist Church built a new building where Terry's Tree House Learning Center is today (5900 I-35).
1954 Lewisville Dam is completed, expanding the Garza-Little Elm Reservoir into Lewisville Lake
November 22, 1957 Retire house track - I.C.C. # 35 at Corinth
1959 Acme Brick bought land for the clay mine.
September 19, 1960 Corinth incorporated
December 31, 1966 Retire mail crane at Corinth
December 7, 1967 Fun-Tier KOA Kampground was opened
Late 1960s-early '70s Streets without names were named
1970s Mr. Bennett drew map of Corinth with street numbering scheme
1974 Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport opens
1977 A study was done in 1977 by NTSU students to investigate consolidation of the cities of Corinth, Lake Dallas, Hickory Creek cities or their functions. 
1977 A Corinth budget was proposed that included funds for the first City Hall building.
June 30, 1978 Fun-Tier KOA Kampground was sold and renamed Dallas KOA
1979 Water and sewer installed in Corinth
January, 1983 Corinth began providing 24-hour police protection
August 13, 1986 Boeing Electronics announced it will locate a plant in Corinth
November, 1987 Corinth First Baptist Church bought 5 acres of land on Meadowview Drive
1989 Bayou Inn restaurant opened
January, 1991 McClain's RV opened in Corinth
November, 1991 Corinth First Baptist Church completed first building on Meadowview Drive
May 6, 1999 Corinth gained a Home Rule Charter.
January, 2000 North Central Texas College - Corinth Campus opened
2003 Labinal bought Boeing's wiring facility
