Baruch College Newsies
The Newsies! is the only high school journalism competition for New York City students. The awards, funded by the Harnisch Foundation and The Dow Jones News Fund, is produced by the NYC High School Journalism Collaborative at Baruch College are designed to inspire and invigorate high school journalism throughout the city. More than 200 entries from 22 public schools were submitted. Judges included journalists from major publications including Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe and Newsday.
