Outdoor Burning
Corinth

To conduct outdoor burning in Corinth, the owner/occupant must meet the following:

1.    The owner/occupant must follow the Texas Administrative Code on Outdoor Burning
2.    The owner/occupant must obtain a burn permit from the Lake Cities Fire Department
3.    It must be a Burn Day according to the Denton County Fire Marshal's Office website

Hickory Creek

To conduct outdoor burning in Hickory Creek, the owner/occupant must meet the following:

1.    The owner/occupant must follow the Texas Administrative Code on Outdoor Burning
2.    The owner/occupant must obtain a burn permit from the Lake Cities Fire Department
3.    It must be a Burn Day according to the Denton County Fire Marshal's Office website

Lake Dallas

To conduct outdoor burning in Lake Dallas, the owner/occupant must meet the following:

1.    The owner/occupant must follow the Texas Administrative Code on Outdoor Burning
2.    The owner/occupant must obtain a burn permit from the Lake Cities Fire Department
3.    It must be a Burn Day according to the Denton County Fire Marshal's Office website

Shady Shores

Please see the Shady Shores website for details on Outdoor Burning.  Regardless of the Town's Ordinances on Outdoor Burning, it must be a Burn Day according to the Denton County Fire Marshal's Office website to conduct any outdoor burning. 

 If you would like to conduct an outdoor burn, please use the links to the left to begin the process for obtaining a burn permit.  Please note that all outdoor burn piles will be inspected by a fire department representative and you must have a burn permit from the Lake Cities Fire Department to begin outdoor burning.
