For this midseason/holiday finale of "American Horror Story: Coven," we've come full circle. While we've seen our share of messed-up mother/daughter relationships, tonight we got to see some father influence. It's an eye-popping good time.
It was a good year for the weirdos.
Say what you want about Alex Gansa and the direction of Season 3; the producers still know how to mindf*ck with us every couple episodes.
The Big Bang Theory is getting up there in years, so it's not surprising that they finally reached the point where they had to resort to this plot device. And it's Christmas time, so It's a Wonderful Life was apt.
Some business leaders inspire our work. But some unique individuals inspire our vocation.
From a famously divided Congress that finally agreed on something (Sunny Obama is adorable!) to two international sporting events whose execution proved more entertaining than the actual sport, 2014 definitely did not disappoint us in terms of buzz-worthy events.
Determined to be open to this new take on an old favorite -- after all, "the wool of the black sheep is just as warm" -- I hunkered down with a homemade habit (not kidding), a bottle of Grüner Veltliner and an unlimited texting plan to exchange notes with my family.
Any other female performer who refused to share any of her personal life (or personality, really) would quickly be branded with quite different labels than the ones we have reserved for Queen Spears. Today being guarded is understood as "closed-off" or "robotic." The inability to present oneself as vulnerable is seen as "inauthentic." For Spears, that same behavior is untouchable.
This story of corporate greed will make you so angry that you'll demand justice be done. The show Mythbusters is doing the exact same experiments and using the same exact words as MY new science series, This vs That and their producers and Discovery Channel won't pay me.
What is worrisome is these commercials are the only glimpse into farming that millions of people will ever see. A generation that's been raised on artificial ingredients is now being fed a diet of farming fiction.
This week I talked with 21-year-old singer Jonathan Allen, who touched our hearts singing his way into the semifinals on America's Got Talent. His audition performance has been called the most emotional audition ever in the show's history.
Well, I just finished watching The Sound Of Music: LIVE. I'm on the West Coast and in summation: the hills are certainly still alive. (Unfortunately in one respect there is way too much "wood.") Sit back, please. This is not brief.
Last night Scandal turned into 24 and dumped torture porn on us Scandalistas.
Christian shares what it's like for him to be a straight actor who is a gay icon and how that has impacted his career. He also discusses why it's easier today for straight actors to play gay roles in movies and television.
With "Scandal," so much goes on in any given episode and even though we're prepared to be shocked, I'm always surprised by how buggy my eyes get, how much more my mind is blown, and how stunned into silence I am. What do the kids say? YOLO?
Haley Orrantia, Troy Gentile, and Sean Giambrone make sibling rivalry look like an art form. A squabble between these three is a delightful symphony of chaos, and being a fly on the wall to their mayhem will leave you in a fit of giggles.
Not everyone seemed to share my excitement. At least not in a positive way. Twitter and Facebook seemed to explode with negative comments before the first commercial break.Â
