The Office of Professional and Continuing Education is the department responsible for the University of North Texas Health Science Center’s continuing education and professional outreach. Each year, it registers thousands of healthcare providers and awards more than 100,000 credits for physicians, nurses, PAs, pharmacists, certified health educators, social workers and other professionals.


News and Updates

  • PACE was awarded a grant to fund an initiative that will improve the way asthma is managed in schools and by community-based clinicians. We're excited about this project that has the potential to reduce school absences and hospital admissions!

  • PACE awarded a CMS 1115 Medicaid Waiver project to reduce hospitalizations and ED utilization in North Texas

  • PACE wins 2 awards at the 2013 Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions (ACEHP) Conference - Great Ideas Award and the CE Outcomes Award

  • Pam McFadden, PACE's Associate Vice President, is the winner of the Texas Alliance for CME's 2013 Outstanding Achievement in CME Award!
