Union Fest

Union Fest is an annual celebration of the Union building and all that the Union does for the student body. The tradition of Union Fest began in 1976 with the completion of the renovated Union.

Every year since, the Union hosts a building wide party for the UNT campus. Union staff and employees spend hours and hours the night before hanging streamers, blowing up balloons, setting up tables for vendors, readying the giant cake, and generally creating Union Fest magic.

On the day of vendors fill the hallways of the Union to give away free food and goodies. There are musicians, balloon artists, games, photo booths and so much more. To conclude the daylong celebration there are speeches made and the giant cake is cut!

Currently, the Union is under construction for renovation. Even though the Union won't be in its official building Union Fest plans to continue. Union Fest will then resume its spot in the Union in 2015 when the renovations are finished.
