UNT System
UNT System Human Resources supports about 10,300 employees and 40,000 students at four-campuses in a competitive economic metropolitan area. The department includes Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, Information Services and Campus Human Resources departments that provide current and potential employees with opportunities to excel and grow in diverse university environments.
The department also provides workforce planning and consulting, market analysis, employment records and employee education and training at all four campuses.
Faculty and staff use their skills and knowledge in such fields as finance and accounting, graduate and undergraduate instruction, medicine and medical research, health care professions, computing technology, student services, maintenance and construction and many others.
The Affordable Care Act, a federal law that mandates health insurance options for all citizens, began October 1, 2013. Employees of all UNT institutions who are currently eligible and covered under the group benefits plan through ERS are not required to make any changes and will continue to be covered under their current plan.
