The oldest continuously operating farm in the United States - dating back almost 400 years - has been sold. In the Tuttle family since 1632, the 132-acre farm in Dover, New Hampshire, sold last month for just over $1million.

Bears generally stay in the jail for up to 30 days before they are helicoptered out (right).

Police in Mississippi arrested Timothy Lydell Burns, 42, after he led authorities to the remains of Jaidon Hill, 7, Atira Hughes-Smith, 30 and Laterry Smith, 34. All three were shot to death. However, police have not commented on the circumstances of their deaths or why Burns allegedly killed them.

This deer with an arrow shot cleanly through its head was spotted and photographed by New Jersey resident Susan Darrah. She was shocked to see the deer at her home in Boonton with a dart wedged through its muzzle.

Romania-based photographer and artist Caras Ionut has created the stunning images by twisting his own, ordinary photographs into bizarre and otherworldly creations.
