insureKS.org is...

The talk about health insurance changes coming in 2014 has increased, and the Kansas Insurance Department wants to help answer your questions.  This website provides information on health insurance changes already in place and coming next year.

The site includes “ALEX®,” who will engage you in a conversation to explain these changes in a simple, entertaining way.  Another tool, the Tax Credit Calculator, helps you estimate premiums and tax credits that may be available to you in 2014. Videos, FAQs, a glossary and other helpful links are also included, and more is on the way.

Find In-Person Assistance

A new insureKS.org service helps you find someone nearby to assist you with the Marketplace.  The In-Person Assistance page lets you search by ZIP code or see a list of cities to locate Marketplace-trained agents, navigators, and certified application counselors now available.

Search Rates & Plans

The Kansas Insurance Department has created a tool to let you view individual rates for all health plans on the Marketplace. The Rates & Plans page will prompt you to search by your county and age.
