The proposed improvements to Loop 375 at the Franklin Mountains State Park entrance will address concerns expressed by the public and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

Current Conditions

Increasing traffic on Loop 375 is making access to Franklin Mountains State Park difficult.

Proposed Improvements

TxDOT continues to analyze this location to ensure continued mobility and safety.  TxDOT will conduct further traffic engineering analysis and collect any accident data for this intersection.  However, TxDOT has developed five alternatives that will be provided in the next public meeting.  Blank aerials will also be provided showing the existing condition at the end of the ongoing construction project.  The public is encouraged to use the aerials as a template to draw their ideas on to provide other possible alternatives or offer comments on the five alternatives.
