    •  Flooding Across the Texas Department of Transportation Bryan District. Bryan District — Due to the heavy rainfall, there has been some flooding the Bryan District. Here is a list of flooded/closed roads: · Robertson County-FM 1373 at the Little Brazos is flooded. There is some damage and maintenance forces will fix this area. · Leon County-Currently there is no water over any of the roads, but we expect that FM 831 and FM 542 at Keechi Creek go under water later tonight or tomorrow. · Freestone County-Currently water is only over FM 489 at Keechi Creek and FM 80 near Streetman. · Milam County-this was our hardest hit county. Water is over the roadway on FM 485 and FM 437. There is damage on both of these roadways. We are hoping to have FM 437 open by the end of the day, but FM 485 at Elm Creek will be closed for a couple of weeks. We are happy to report that Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Madison, Walker and Washington Counties had little or no high water over there roadways and there was no damage.

Sitting in traffic for over 2 HOURS in Katy. .there is a red light that is red for 5-6 minutes and green for 37 seconds (yes, I'm timing it). This light is literally blocking off all the i10 traffic. ONE LIGHT IS CAUSING ALL THAT TRAFFIC. Can someone please go fix the timing? I'm sure everyone would appreciate it

For the Safety of Innocent PPL It would really be nice to Know that the OTR Drivers of these 18 Wheelers could at anytime be pulled over to run A DRUG TEST.It wouldnt be Aganst Their Rights I see it as Just Makng Sure Their Medical Card is Up to Date.Stop a Fatality before it Happens. I would start with Hwy 175 Hawn Freeway / Simmonds Rd.

    • I'd like someone to post a phone number to call when I see frightened/abandoned pets on the highways.I called 311 & they had to connect me to TXDOT. They wanted me to write down a number. Told them "I'm driving, how do I write & drive? You want me to have an accident, or get a ticket, when there is no place to stop on 225W, out of Pasadena?" I assume they sent someone out to pick up the frightened dog, it wasn't there when I drove by later on. Thank you! MERRY Christmas week everyone!

  13. ***Houston Traffic Alert*** Please share.

There will be TWO closures in Houston this weekend, both starting tonight at 9 p.m! Expect delays, or consider an alternate route.

Both directions of IH 10 Katy Freeway at the SH 99 intersection will be closed tonight from 9p.m. to Monday, October 28 at 5 a.m. During the closure, drivers will exit the mainlanes at SH 99 and go through the intersection be...fore re-entering the mainlanes. Law enforcement will be on hand to direct traffic.

Also, the US 290 Westbound mainlanes will be closed tonight from 9 p.m. until 9 a.m. tomorrow from W. 43rd Street to Fairbanks N. Houston. Then, tomorrow, October 26 at 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday the 27th, the westbound mainlanes from Fairbanks N. Houston to Gessner will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to the frontage road. Alternate routes are Hempstead Rd. or IH 10 West to Beltway 8 to US 290.

Please bear with us during these closures, as we work to improve Houston’s roads. We'll be doing resurfacing and beam installment. Visit HoustonTranStar.org or follow @TxDOTHoustonPIO on Twitter for more info.
