Duty Officer Support

Air Check Virginia is administered by the Mobile Source Operations Section of DEQ. The Mobile Source Operations Section maintains a Duty Officer during normal business hours. If you have any questions or concerns about the Virginia Emissions Inspection program, your first call should be here. Please have the following information available:

• Vehicle identification number (VIN)
• Your vehicle's year, make and model
• Gross vehicle weight rating
• Your vehicle inspection reports

On-Road Emissions (ORE) Program

If you have questions or need assistance with the ORE program you may contact the phone numbers below and ask for the On-Road Emissions Program Officer. Be sure to have ready, if necessary, the information listed above as well as any relevant paperwork.
