DEQ publishes public notices in local newspapers in Virginia and on the agency website. These notices provide information about public hearings, public meetings, public comment periods and other events related to DEQ activities.
For public comment periods, Virginia residents may send written comments or submit them electronically to the public notice contact person identified in each notice. All comments must include the sender’s name, address and telephone number.
Public comment or participation opportunities also may be posted on the Virginia Regulatory Town Hall web site or on DEQ’s public calendar.
