I saw on Facebook that there is a Super Bowl coming up again! I didn't even realize that football was happening. Well, I can't wait to watch the... Seahawks play against the... Broncos (thanks Google!).

If you're like me, then you'll want to pick up a few things before you make your move. Here's a selection of facts you should learn:

Team Names
Team Locations
Team Uniform Colors (this will be critical later when cheering/jeering)
Location of Super Bowl
Quarterback names (there's 2)
Some football terminology (i.e. downs, touchdown, field goal, tackle)
And you're going to want to pick a favorite (preferably the favorite of the party host)

That should get you into the party. For the rest of the time, just keep food in your mouth and shout when everyone else does.

Boom. You're a football fan.
