After more than 3 months, Texas health department hasn’t collected details on West explosion injuries

Two days after the bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City (right), Oklahoma began collecting detailed injury information. In the three months since the explosion at West Fertilizer Co. (left), Texas officials have yet to determine even how many were hurt.

Oklahoma moved fast after its federal building was blown up, but Texas is still discussing how to compile facts on fertilizer explosion casualties that could help with future treatment and safety.
