The Public Services Division is comprised of the Access Services Department, Eagle Commons Library, Government Documents Department, and Research and Instructional Services Department. Access Services includes the Circulation, Reserves, and Interlibrary Loan units.

We are the interface between you and the services and collections in the libraries. We deliver books and articles to distance learners; answer reference questions by phone, e-mail, or in person; provide workshops and classroom instruction on library tools and services; assist with obtaining material from other libraries for our users, maintain materials on reserve that faculty want set aside for specific classes; maintain the books in order on the shelves; work with faculty to ensure necessary materials are available in our collections; and provide programs on interesting topics.

These and many other services we provide support the information needs of UNT students, faculty, and staff, as well as the larger community around UNT.
