    Itโ€™s been 10 years since the global outbreak of SARS. Watch CDC Director Dr. Tom Frieden talk about how weโ€™ve made progress in disease detection since SARS; however, we remain at risk from global health threats like emerging and drug-resistant microbes. Next-generation tools like molecular sequencing and bioinformatics can help us rapidly identify and stop these killer microbes before they spread, but we must act now.
