STUDIES IN THE NOVEL

Studies in the Novel has been published quarterly by the Department of English at the University of North Texas since 1969. It presents excellence in original criticism of the novel in all periods, by established and emerging novelists worldwide, from all interpretive approaches.
Submitted articles receive initial review from the editor and, following initial acceptance, are then evaluated by noted scholars in the appropriate field from Studies in the Novel's advisory board and the broader academic community. Reviews and review-essays are commissioned by the book review editor(s), but suggestions for these are welcome. Meanwhile, the journal does not accept requests from authors seeking reviews of their own work.
The journal periodically publishes special issues, devoted to a single topic and edited by a guest editor noted in the appropriate field.
