The health and welfare of students at the Health Science Center is a high priority of the administration and faculty. All students are required to have annual health insurance in order to be in compliance with Health Science Center policy. Students have the right and option to choose any health insurance plan they feel is best suited to their needs; however, a school sponsored Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan is provided through UnitedHealthcare Student Resources – www.uhcsr.com. After choosing a plan, the student is responsible for becoming familiar with the rules, regulations and guidelines of his/her individual plan.
