Texas swept Oregon in three sets to win the program's second national championship, the first since 1988. Haley Eckerman and Bailey Webster combined for 26 kills during the match.
Texas came out strong against Oregon, posting a 3-0 sweep to win its first national championship in 24 years. Bailey Webster had five kills in the first set, finishing the match with a .714 percentage.
Bailey Webster was named the Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA tournament and helped Texas to its first NCAA title in 24 years. Webster knocked down 14 kills, while hitting .500 against the Ducks.
Last year, Oregon outside hitter Liz Brenner became the first female Duck to letter in three sports since 1976, playing volleyball, basketball and softball. Brenner also plans to compete in track and field.
