GSBS student trains forensic workers in war-ravaged Angola
Pam Marshall faced a tough decision last fall: train staff in one of the world's most dangerous cities to run a forensic DNA lab, or concentrate on her PhD at UNT Health Science Center. She took the risk. Traveling alone to Luanda, Angola, Africa, on her first international flight, she arrived to find her workplace circled with barbed wire in a city still largely lawless after years of civil war.

TCOM celebrates National Osteopathic Medicine Week with seminars, public health screenings
National Osteopathic Medicine (NOM) Week is April 14-20. NOM Week brings the osteopathic medical profession together to focus on one common goal - increasing awareness of osteopathic medicine and DOs in communities across the country.

The April issue of Fort Worth, Texas magazine honors 25 UNT Health physicians as Top Doctors. They were selected as a result of surveys of fellow health care providers. They practice in clinics and hospitals across Tarrant County.
