 PROMOTIONS ANNOUNCED AT HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER


FORT WORTH, Texas -- Adela N. Gonzalez, MPA, has been appointed vice president for administration and institutional diversity, and Warren Anderson, Ed.D., is now dean for educational affairs and associate professor of medical education, both at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. The promotions were announced by Dr. David M. Richards, president.

Gonzalez is responsible for administrative services, community relations, and for coordinating multicultural enrichment programs among students, faculty and staff at the health science center. She is the former director of the department of health and human services for the city of Dallas. Gonzalez has consulted with organizations including the American Public Health Association, Texas Department of Health, Mexican-American Legislative Caucus and Texas Hispanic Women’s Network.

Anderson previously held the position of associate dean for educational planning and development at the health science center, where he has held various administrative posts for over twenty years. He is responsible for directing medical education programming, institutional self-studies and accreditation activities.
