Government relations & policy operations

Mission

Working closely with the UNT System Chancellor, Board of Regents, and component institution leaders, the offices of Government Relations and Policy Operations assist in establishing state and federal legislative and policy priorities for the System.

Government Relations engages constituencies on behalf of the legislative priorities necessary to support the UNT System and its component institutions, monitors legislative and agency operations, and provides information to officials at all levels of government.

Policy Operations focuses on issues impacting higher education and the UNT System, preparing research and analysis to shape and inform policy decisions.
