Laura McCoy continued her ascent up the program's all-time three-point shooting list. The junior from Flower Mound opened the scoring with a three and had four for the game, raising her career total to 97. McCoy is now tied for fourth on the all-time list with Delaine Taylor.

Through the first 12 games of the season, North Texas had not scored more than 37 points in the first half of any game. In their last two outings, the Mean Green has scored a combined 94 points in the first half. North Texas followed up their 50-point first-half effort against Troy with a 44 point opening 20 minutes against ULM.

Senior Sara Stanley had her third-straight double-figure scoring game. Stanley had 15 points Saturday after going for 16 and 23 in the two previous games. Saturday's total also raised Stanley's season-scoring average to double figures for the first time this year at 10.1 points per game.

Saturday's win gave North Texas their first win streak of the season. The Mean Green's last win streak was a two-game streak last season in victories over Louisiana-Lafayette and Arkansas State.
