A Night in Casablanca UNT Health Science Center

To Your Health: Passport to New Adventures
Gala 2012

The UNT Health Science Center is pleased to present this year's To Your Health gala, celebrating our newest innovative enterprise, the UNT System College of Pharmacy. The event will be held at the Renaissance Worthington Hotel in downtown Fort Worth on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at 6:30 p.m.

To Your Health: Passport to New Adventures will be attended by more than 600 community leaders, alumni, friends and supporters and will feature Casablanca ambiance, gourmet dining, fellowship and great dance music. To Your Health provides an excellent means to help sustain our world-class educational, research, patient care and community outreach programs. Our
2012 event will also honor Arnold Gachman for his steadfast support of the UNT Health Science Center.

The UNT System College of Pharmacy is the first such college in North Texas and the only one in the state to be located on the campus of a health science center. It will be uniquely positioned to prepare pharmacists to enter the new era of patient care as active members of a patient's health care team. Pharmacy students will be educated alongside other future health care team members, including medical students, physician assistants, physical therapists, and biomedical researchers. Students will also be on a campus renowned for its geriatric and genomic expertise, which will play a critical role in the upcoming era of personalized medicine.

The UNT Health Science Center is state assisted, not state supported. In fact, less than a third of our annual operating budget is provided by dollars that fl uctuate based on the Texas economy and skyrocketing public needs. The rest must come from clinical revenues, research grants and private gifts.

EVERY GIFT IS AN INVESTMENT IN A HEALTHIER, SAFER
AND BETTER FUTURE.

Thank you for your interest in supporting the people and programs of UNT Health Science Center during our To Your Health gala.
