The University of North Texas System serves the North Texas area, boosting economic activity in the region by nearly $2 billion annually. About 36,000 students are enrolled in undergraduate, graduate and professional programs, and system enrollment is projected to increase to about 45,000 students by 2015.

Ronald T. Brown officially named president of the University of North Texas at Dallas

Ronald T. BrownThe University of North Texas System (UNTS) Board of Regents has named Ronald T. Brown, Ph.D., president of the University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas), effective July 1.

Search begins for University of North Texas president

A Presidential Search Advisory Committee has been appointed to identify candidates to lead the University of North Texas, the flagship of the UNT System. The next president of UNT will succeed V. Lane Rawlins, who announced in early March that he will retire once a new president is appointed sometime in 2013.
