The Murphy Center for Entrepreneurship will be a global leader in entrepreneurship through academic programs that lead to the formation of new and innovative enterprises and creative solutions for social problems.

Lecture Support

The Murphy Center for Entrepreneurship offers a set of resources to faculty on the UNT campus who have an interest in promoting and supporting entrepreneurship in their classes. This support includes the following:

    1. Class lectures with titles such as; “The Entrepreneurial Mindset”, “Opportunity Recognition”, “Entrepreneurial Opportunities in your Career”.
    2. Brief overview (in the classroom) of programs offered through the Murphy Center including the IDEA competition, Social Enterprise Venture Competition and the New Venture Creation Contest.
    3. PowerPoint presentations available to faculty at UNT including a wide range of topics related to entrepreneurship across disciplines.
    4. Web links to an array of resources that contain information on venture formation, social entrepreneurship and cross discipline entrepreneurship.
    5. Free access to faculty resources including a monthly Entrepreneurship newsletter and information related to conferences and workshops available to UNT faculty.
