Mission

To improve the health and quality of life for the people of Texas and beyond through excellence in the successful translation of basic science concepts into clinical practice (“from bench to bedside”) by providing efficient, effective multidisciplinary Clinical Trial support to the investigators, faculty, staff, students, and patients of the University of North Texas Health Science Center.

Vision

To contribute to UNTHSC’s goal of becoming a top 10 health science center by fostering the premier regional program of Clinical Trials sponsored by the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. The Office of Clinical Trials will provide innovative opportunities for UNTHSC’s investigators, faculty, staff, students and patients to contribute to clinical research and, thereby, to clinical care, education, and community engagement.

The Office of Clinical Trials of the University of North Texas Health Science Center is committed to proving the safety and effectiveness of new treatments for today's diseases and disorders. Along with many other sites across Texas and the United States, our office is currently conducting more than 2 dozen clinical studies each year for some of the nation's leading pharmaceutical and medical device companies. It is our hope that you will see the benefit of being part of a clinical study and that you will realize how your participation has the potential to benefit the lives of millions of other people dealing with your same medical condition.
