You’ve been asking for better online communication tools, and you’ve been asking for Outlook. Well, the time is here, and we are delivering!   Outlook, chat, calendaring, file storage and so much more is on its way to you. 

Information Resources is partnering with Microsoft to bring you a suite of online communication and organization tools powered by Microsoft’s Live@edu service. Through Live@edu and Outlook Live, we will be offering customized student email accounts hosted by Windows Live.

Using your login for your new e-mail account, you will be able to use all of the Microsoft Live products to help keep you connected and organized with:

• Microsoft Office Outlook – 10GB inbox, 20MG attachments
• Messenger – Anywhere, instantly.
• Mobile – Anytime Access
• SkyDrive – 25GB Online Storage
• Spaces – Create your own space
• Office Live Workspace – Save, Access and Share Files Online
• Windows Live Writer – Create compelling Blogs.

All of these great features, and more, are accessible on Windows, Mac, Linux and mobile devices, and 15 different languages are supported all via the web. Live@edu works with Firefox, Safari, Opera and more on PC, Mac and other platforms.

As we move to LiveatUNTHSC, we will also be changing e-mail domain names. Students will now have an email address of student@live.unthsc.edu. Alumni and Retirees will also be changing, and will be alumni.unthsc.edu and retire.unthsc.edu respectively.
