National Incident Management System

The National Incident Management System (NIMS) is a system that improves emergency response operations through the utilization of standardized procedures. This system promotes interoperability between jurisdictional, statewide, and interstate agencies.  It is important for staff and faculty to become familiar with NIMS to help understand how UNT will coordinate with the City of Denton and other surrounding communities during an emergency.
