Shooter preparedness can help you survive

Planning what to do in a crisis will help prepare you if the unthinkable happens. To help students, faculty and staff survive an active shooter situation on campus, the UNTHSC Police Department, Student Affairs and Safety Office presented advice in a noontime session April 9.

The annual Health Science Center Service Recognition Program honored employees during a ceremony in Luibel Hall on April 9. Awards were presented for every five years of service based on the total time worked in the UNT System, accumulated through Dec. 31, 2012.
