Giving to UNT

The light is green. The time is now.
The Campaign for UNT

The University of North Texas is the University for North Texas.

For the North Texas region, UNT represents an economic, social and cultural force. With 36,000 students and 8,500 degrees awarded annually, UNT is the largest and most comprehensive institution of higher education in North Texas.

No other university in the region matches the breadth of our programs or the depth of our excellence. No other university provides North Texas with the same amount of intellectual or creative capital to fuel the region’s growing economy. No other university can match our impact in business, politics, science, education and the arts.

No other university provides a stronger pipeline for the trained talent demanded by the area's enterprises. UNT boosts economic activity in the North Texas region by $1.7 billion annually, and more than 227,000 of our nearly 350,000 alumni live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

More than a fundraising effort, The Campaign for UNT raises the stakes for UNT as a growing public research university while expanding the university's reputation and sphere of influence. The campaign has three main goals:

  • Raise money to support the university and its people
  • Engage more alumni and supporters in the life and progress of the university
  • Develop a stronger culture of philanthropy at UNT

The name of the campaign says it all. Like no other time in its history, UNT has momentum that builds on our history as the engine of the North Texas region. Gifts to this campaign, large and small, send the signal that an investment made in UNT is an investment in the future. Join us, because the light is green and the time is now.
