Come 4 a.m. Thursday, the final phase of the airport's $27 million 'Gateway Project' will open with one central security checkpoint on the ground floor. From there, fliers will be directed upstairs through a newly created central food court/retail shopping area before heading for their planes.
 
The Wall Street Journal just published an interview with Chuck Jeannes, who is a University of Nevada, Reno graduate and CEO of the world's second largest gold mining company.
 
Analysts say Nevada still leads the nation in underwater mortgages, although rising home prices have improved the overall equity situation in the U.S.
