Mar 6 OLMS-Compliance Assistance Seminar, Monroe, OH.
The OLMS Cincinnati District Office will conduct a compliance assistance seminar for all interested union officials, election committee members, CPAs, and union attorneys. The topics will include Forms LM-2, 3 and 4 reporting using the Electronic Forms System (EFS), financial recordkeeping, and union officer elections. EFS registration will also be available.
Mar 6 OFCCP- Preparing Small and New Supply and Service Contractors for an OFFCP Audit., Pittsburgh, PA.
The Pittsburgh District Office will host a seminar for small and new supply and service contractors to provide information on the components of written affirmative action programs as required by Executive Order 11246, as amended, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, as amended. The seminar will also address how to execute positive outreach and recruitment of minorities, females, Veterans and individuals with  disabilities for hiring opportunities. 
Mar 6 OFCCP: Good faith efforts, exceptional results!, San Francisco, CA.
This event is designed to build on the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), Greater San Francisco Bay District Office’s October 19, 2012, disability focused Workforce Solutions Conference and further strengthen relationships and linkages between contractors and job placement agencies. Attendees who attend this FREE best practice working session and resource fair to will: • Build mutually beneficial relationships with community based resources that can help connect you to qualified applicants with disabilities; • Learn how to enhance your disability program, ensure compliance and measure results; • Hear and identify common barriers in implementing good faith efforts and work with community based resources and fellow employers in small group discussions to develop solutions to achieve your diversity goals. Mar 6 Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory Program Public Forum , Washington, DC.
OSHA will hold a public forum to discuss proposed interim policies regarding Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) Program independence, the initial application process and timeline, and renewal process. OSHA staff is currently re-examining several aspects of the NRTL Program and may propose new or revised guidelines. The meeting will serve as a forum to solicit input from stakeholders concerning specific issues related to the NRTL Program. NRTLs are third-party laboratories that meet OSHA’s requirements for performing safety testing and certification of products used in the workplace. NRTLs test and certify these products to determine whether they conform to appropriate U.S. product-safety standards.
Mar 6 AHEAD: Alliances Helping Employers Achieve Diversity, San Antonio, TX.
OUTREACH: The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) are co-sponsoring a first of its kind community outreach event in the San Antonio metropolitan area to educate employers, HR representatives and Community Based Organizations on the changing recruitment and accommodation responsibilities with regard to individuals with disabilities and assisting our nation’s veterans and people with disabilities in their job search. The agenda will include OFCCP, VA and DARS presentations, panelists from government agencies, and a job fair for veteran and disabled job seekers.
