2015 Governor’s Service Awards to Honor Outstanding Volunteers Across Colorado

Aug. 28, 2015 | Lt. Gov. Joe Garcia’s office today recognized ten individuals and organizations that have volunteered and served Colorado and its communities at the 2015 Governor’s Service Awards ceremony. The Governor’s Service Awards are presented in recognition and appreciation to individuals, community/civic leaders, various organizations, and Senior Corps for their outstanding contribution to volunteerism and service throughout Colorado.

Gov. Hickenlooper announces Boards and Commissions appointments

Aug. 27, 2015 | Gov. John Hickenlooper today announced several Boards and Commissions appointments to the Court Security Cash Fund Commission, Colorado Banking Board, Colorado Educational and Cultural Facilities Authority Board of Directors, State Capitol Building Advisory Committee, Caring for Colorado Foundation Board of Directors, the Hospital Provider Fee Oversight and Advisory Board, Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Advisory Council, and Justice Assistance Grant Board.

Gov. Hickenlooper announces transition in Colorado Tourism Office

Aug. 20, 2015 | Gov. John Hickenlooper today announced that Al White, senior advisor to the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade and former executive director of the Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) will leave his position effective September 30, 2015. White has served in the role since 2011.
