From southern
New Hampshire/Massachusetts:

  • Take I-93 North to Exit 13
    (Route 3 South; Manchester Street)
  • Head south on Route 3 for approximately 2 miles
  • Take Route 106 North (left) for 1/2 mile
  • Turn right onto Commerce Way
  • USGS Office is the third building on the
    right-hand side

From the Seacoast area:

  • Take US Route 4 West (NH Route 9)
  • Turn left at the intersection of Route 9 and
    Route 106
  • Continue south on Route 106 for
    approximately 3 miles
  • Turn left onto Borough Road
  • Take the first right onto Commerce Way
  • USGS Office is the second building on
    the left-hand side

  From northern New Hampshire:

  • Take I-93 South into Concord
  • Take exit 15E to I-393 East (Exit 3)
  • Take Route 106 South for approximately
    3 miles
  • Turn left onto Borough Road
  • Take the first right onto Commerce Way
  • USGS Office is the second building on
    the left-hand side

  From western New Hampshire/Vermont:

  • Take I-89 South to I-93
  • Take I-93 North to exit 13 (Route 3 South-
    Manchester Street)
  • Head south on Route 3 for approximately
    2 miles
  • Take Route 106 North (left) for 1/2 mile
  • Turn right onto Commerce Way
  • USGS Office is the third building on the
    right-hand side

  From southern New Hampshire
  (Concord, NH):

  • Take I-89 North to Vt. Exit 8, head east on Memorial Drive
  • Take left at first traffic light onto Bailey Avenue
  • Take right onto State Street, pass Capitol on left
  • USGS office is on the left-hand side at 87 State Street
  • The office building is 3-story, marble and white brick (1st floor is Post Office, and upper two floors are Federal agencies)
  • Public parking is across the street by Northfield Savings Bank
  • When entering building, pass through security check, go up elevator to the third floor, and follow USGS signs

  From western and northwestern
  Vermont (Burlington area):

  • Take I-89 South to Vt. Exit 8, and follow same directions from southern New Hampshire

 

From eastern and northeastern
Vermont (St. Johnsbury area):

  • Take Route 2 West into Montpelier
  • Take a right at traffic light onto Main Street (Mobil station is on left corner)
  • Take a left at the first traffic light onto State Street
  • USGS office is the second building on the right side of the second block
