Dr. Michael Bowers Appointed Dean for College of Business

After an extensive national search, Davenport University has named Michael R. Bowers, Ph.D., as its new Dean for the Donald W. Maine College of Business. Dr. Bowers began his new role on Jan. 7, 2013.

Davenport is the first university in the nation to offer the STAR Program University Certification. The online program provides leading-edge comprehensive training in cancer rehabilitation for healthcare professionals including nursing and allied health.

How about a career in Social Work

Students now have the opportunity to use their DU credits toward a Bachelor of Social Work from Kuyper College in Grand Rapids — earning two bachelor degrees at the same time! Starting Winter 2013, DU and Kuyper College will offer a program leading to a degree in Social Work using DU credits.
