HPMC OMS provides a return-to-work evaluation for employees who have been absent from work due to illness or injury. Many Hanford contractors require their employees to be evaluated by HPMC OMS if they have been off work for five or more days. In some cases, additional testing or evaluation  may be needed to assess fitness for duty. We utilize the workers’ EJTA to determine if they may safely return to work and whether or not restrictions are necessary. Employees should check with their human resources department or manager regarding their company policy.
