Beryllium-Associated Worker Registry

HPMC OMS is the Beryllium-Associated Worker Registry Data Coordinator for the Hanford Site. The Chronic Beryllium Disease Prevention Program rule [10 CFR 850.39(h)] requires data be submitted to the beryllium registry at Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) semi-annually. Personal breathing zone monitoring data is collected from contractors, matched with patient data, and the encrypted data is submitted to ORISE.

All Prime Contractors to DOE on the Hanford Site submit personal monitoring beryllium data to HPMC OMS on a semi-annual basis consistent with 10 CFR 850. The data is submitted by HPMC OMS to ORISE for the time periods January 1 through June 30 by July 30. Data from July 1 through December 31 is submitted by January 30.

The HPMC OMS Beryllium Registry Coordinator works closely with Contractors in the data collection and submission process. On this page you find the Beryllium Registry Point of Contact list and a link the DOE guidance document on Registry Data Collection and Management.
