Description

This program supports the research and development of new medical technologies to improve the outcomes of surgical interventions. Examples include technologies for: minimally invasive surgeries, energy-based interventions such as RF ablation, robotically assisted surgical systems, integration of imaging and interventional modalities.

Program staff recommend that principal investigators include a cover letter listing areas of scientific expertise needed to review the application and how the expertise should be balanced (please do not include names), or potential study section assignments.
